Illustrative examples with fictional data. The result depends on your request and the AI model you connect.

You create. The project is yours.

Monad brings the agent, the preview, the database and the versions together in one place, on your computer.

  • Runs on your computer

The project, the code and the preview stay on your machine. You open, edit and keep it the way you like.

  • Use the model you already pay for

Connect OmniRoute, Anthropic (API key or your Claude subscription) or OpenAI (API key or your ChatGPT subscription). Monad does not resell AI.

  • An agent that does the work

It reads the project, creates the files, runs commands in the terminal and fixes what breaks. Sub-agents explore the code and implement in parallel.

  • Your own database

Use Supabase, Neon or your own PostgreSQL, chosen per app. The AI creates tables and queries, and the credentials stay encrypted.

  • Versions you can undo

Every change becomes a version. Go back whenever you want, keep it in Git and publish to your own server.

  • Local backups, no telemetry

The app keeps local backups and does not collect usage telemetry. Your files stay accessible in your computer's folder.

The AI works. You set the limits.

Connect tools through MCP and choose which ones the AI can use. Allow, ask for confirmation or deny access, tool by tool.

    A more organized start

One identity across the whole app

New icons, typography and shades of blue, from chat to settings. Light and dark themes.

    Your version always in view

Check the version in the title bar. 1.25.29 is already available through the updater.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I get the new version?

On the installed Monad, open Account (the person icon in the menu) and choose “Check for updates”. After the download, click “Restart to update”. The version appears in the title bar. If you do not use Monad yet, download the current installer.

Do I need to pay for the AI separately?

Yes. Monad uses the model you connect: an Anthropic or OpenAI API key, your OmniRoute, or your Claude or ChatGPT subscription. The model cost is between you and the provider.

    Is there a free trial?

Yes. The first 7 days of using the installed app are free, with no card. After that you need to activate a license.

What happens if I stop paying?

You have 7 days of grace after the due date. After that, Monad shows the activation screen and is locked. Your projects stay in your folder, and access returns as soon as the subscription is renewed.

    How do I cancel?

Through your Mercado Pago, under Subscriptions, or by asking support by email. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Can I ask for a refund?

Yes. Within 7 days of purchase you can withdraw and get your money back. Write to support.

Do my projects go to the cloud?

The files stay on your computer. When you talk to the AI, Monad sends the chosen provider the context needed to answer. You decide when to send the project to GitHub or publish it. Details in the privacy policy.

Which systems does it run on?

    For now, only 64-bit Windows.

Windows warned me about the installer. Is it safe?

The installer does not have a digital signature yet, which is why Windows shows a warning. Choose “More info” and then “Run anyway”. Once the signature is in place, the warning goes away.

Which idea will you bring to life?

Start with one screen. Adjust it in the conversation.
Build something that makes sense to you.

    Where Monad comes from

Monad is based on Dyad, an open-source local app builder (Apache 2.0). The idea, the codebase and much of what works here come from the work of Dyad's authors.

Monad is not affiliated with Dyad or its authors. The changes and maintenance are ours, and the notice of origin and the Apache 2.0 license come with the application.
