Terms of use

This page is a courtesy translation of the Portuguese (Brazil) version, which is the one that applies. Monad is offered from Brazil, under Brazilian law.

1. Who provides Monad

Monad is provided by the service provider, registered under the document , at . The contact for support, cancellation and refunds is .

2. What you are buying

A subscription that gives you the right to use the Monad application for Windows, receive updates and talk to support by email. Monad is an AI app builder that runs on your computer.

3. Account and license of use

• To subscribe, you must be 18 or older. You declare this when you create the account.
• The account and the license key are personal. Keep your password safe and do not publish or share the key.
• We may suspend a license in case of fraud, a payment disputed in bad faith or use that harms the service.

4. Price and payment

• To buy, you create an account (name, e-mail and password) in the members area. The price is shown there before you pay, and it is the total charged: there are no hidden fees.
• Payment is made through Mercado Pago. We do not have access to your card number.
• Monthly with auto-renewal: it is charged to your card and renews on its own every month until you cancel.
• Quarterly: it is charged to your card once every 3 months, at a discount compared with the monthly plan, and renews on its own every quarter until you cancel. Access lasts for the 3 months paid.
• Automatic renewal: Monthly with auto-renewal and Quarterly renew on their own, and this is stated before payment, on the Payments screen. You may cancel whenever you want (see item 6).
• Monthly without auto-renewal: you pay once, by Pix or card, and access lasts for a period of 31 days. It does not renew on its own: to continue, you need to pay again.

5. Free trial

The first 7 days of using the installed application are free and do not require a card. After that period you need to activate a license to keep using it.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time, without penalty, in your members area (Payments, Cancel subscription), in the same place where you subscribed, or through Mercado Pago (under Subscriptions), or by asking support. Access continues until the end of the period already paid, and the amount for that period is not refunded, except in the case of the withdrawal described below.

7. Withdrawal and refund

Because the contract is made over the internet, you may withdraw within 7 calendar days of the purchase, under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code, and get the full amount back. You ask in your members area (Payments, Withdraw from the purchase), which sends the request straight to support, or by e-mail, stating the e-mail used in the purchase. The refund is made through the same payment method.

8. Missed payment

If a renewal is not paid, Monad keeps working for 7 days of grace. After that, the application shows the activation screen and is locked until the subscription is brought up to date. Your projects and files stay on your computer, and access returns as soon as the payment is confirmed.

9. AI models and third-party services

• Monad uses the AI models you connect (by API key, gateway or subscription). The cost and terms of each provider are between you and them. The Monad subscription does not include AI credits.
• AI-generated code and content may contain errors. Review it before using it in production.
• We are not responsible for unavailability of or changes to third-party services, such as AI providers, Supabase, Neon, GitHub or Mercado Pago.

10. Open source

Parts of Monad are based on Dyad and distributed under the Apache 2.0 license. The notices of origin and the license come with the application. The subscription does not change the rights that license grants over those components.

11. Liability

Monad is provided as it is, to the extent the law allows. Our liability for damages is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months, except where the law does not allow that limitation.

12. Privacy

The handling of your data is described in the privacy policy.

13. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms or the price, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before the change takes effect.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms follow Brazilian law. For any dispute, the courts of the consumer's place of residence apply.
